Your expertise will be key in minimising downtime, optimising efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are upheld throughout our production process.   If you're ready to bring your technical skills to a dynamic and rewarding role in the heart of our chocolate-making operation, apply now and become part of the sweetness at Lir Chocolates Factory!   The Engineering team operates on a rotational shift pattern consisting of 10-hour shifts including both days and nights, as detailed below. - Week 1: Monday – Thursday, 06:00 -16:30 (days) - Week 2: Tuesday – Friday, 06:00 – 16:30 (days) - Week 3: Monday – Thursday, 16:30 – 03:00 (nights) During the evening shift (16:30 - 03:00), hours worked before 12am will be paid at a premium of 12.5% and hours worked after 12am will be paid at a premium of 25%. Some weekend work will also be required. 

Quality Assurance Assistant   Lir Chocolates, Navan, Ireland   About the QA Assistant role …   We’re on the hunt for two new Quality Assurance (QA) Officer's to join the team based at our chocolate factory in in Navan, Co. Meath.   As a QA Assistant at Lir, you will work be a part of the larger Quality department to champion quality standards within the factory, working within Technical and in collaboration with Production teams to ensure the correct standards are met to ensure that we continue to make delicious, high-quality products!   This position would suit someone with Quality experience within a food factory looking for the next step in their career, or a recent graduate within a relevant discipline. A good knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP and GMP is crucial for this role.
