Lir Chocolates, Navan, County Meath, Ireland 

 

We're currently hiring for two Warehouse Operative positions at Lir Chocolates! We have opportunities available on both our weekday and weekend shifts.

 

Position type: Full-Time, Temporary, Weekday

Hours: 40 hours

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:30

Pay range: €13.90/hour 

Breaks: 30 minutes paid, 30 minutes unpaid

Shift Pattern: Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Pay range: €13.90/hour 

Breaks: 30 minutes paid, 30 minutes unpaid

Responsibilities

  • Pick and move pallets using appropriate equipment, recording movements with a handheld scanner.
  • Use computer systems to track production and ensure stock is correctly placed.
  • Return and scan pallets into racking to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Follow a clean-as-you-go policy to keep the warehouse and vehicles tidy.
  • Report any stock discrepancies immediately to a senior team member.
  • Comply with all food safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

  • Current Forklift licenses (Reach or Counterbalance)
  • Previous warehouse experience is essential
  • Computer literacy, including knowing how to use scanners and relevant software programs.
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills to coordinate large volumes of goods
  • Honesty and trustworthiness.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn
  • Have a clear and professional communication style
